鄭銘心

鄭氏是一名多樂器演奏者、編曲人、爵士聖詩SOUP計劃的創辦人、兼任建道神學院音樂課程客席講師。鄭氏獲建道神學院基督教研究碩士（主修敬拜讚美）及香港教育大學教育（榮譽）學士（音樂教育），主修爵士鋼琴，副修單簧管及長笛。

在學期間，鄭氏曾與Mondre Moffett教授率領的北卡羅萊納州農工州立大學爵士大樂隊於美國不同宴會及音樂會演出。鄭氏師隨Ted Lo羅尚正主修鋼琴、陳中豪及Dr. Kenneth Ruff學習薩克管，並考獲薩克管ATCL演奏文憑(優異)及不同樂器的演奏證書。

早年，鄭氏在香港多個場地及音樂節作演出，如自由爵士音樂節、香港藝術中心、香港國際機場、藝穗會、1563 at the East、留白Livehouse等等。鄭氏曾參與多個音樂團體，包括Patrick Lui Jazz Orchestra、the 5422 Collective、Happy-Go-Lucky Big Band、Jazz Funk樂隊Soulmates及爵士三重奏Setamluos，The 5422 Collective更曾兩度在藝穗會首演鄭氏的爵士大樂隊作品。

近年，鄭氏參與多個音樂會的製作，如Rubberband 2023 《Ciao》世界巡迴演唱會、《Disney in Concert》（2023）、香港管弦樂團《Jazz Diva: Ella Fitzgerald》（2023）、香港流行音樂節2023、RubberBand 《Juntos》 (2023)、小圓台音樂會（2024）、自由爵士音樂節：RubberBand x 雷柏熹爵士大樂團 (2024)。鄭氏在2024年更發行了首隻個人改編爵士聖詩專輯《SOUP》，合作爵士樂手包括雷柏熹、崔展鴻、黃德聰、黃嘉豪等。此外，鄭氏現隨小林鈴勘學習爵士尺八及松本宏平學習琴古流傳統尺八音樂，盼在香港宣揚尺八音樂。



Cheng Ming-Sum

Cheng is a multi-instrumentalist, arranger, founder of the Jazz Hymn Project SOUP, and guest lecturer at the Alliance Bible Seminary. He holds a Master of Christian Studies (majoring in Praise & Worship) from Alliance Bible Seminary and a Bachelor of Education (Honours) (Music) from the Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK), with a major in jazz piano and minors in clarinet and flute.

During his studies, Cheng performed in various events and concerts in the United States with the North Carolina A&T State University Jazz Orchestra, under the direction of Professor Mondre Moffett. He studied piano under Ted Lo, and saxophone under Jeffrey Chan Chung Ho, and Dr. Kenneth Ruff, earning an ATCL Performance Diploma (Distinction) in saxophone and certificates in different instrumental performances.

In his early years, Cheng performed at various venues and music festivals in Hong Kong, including the Freespace Jazz Festival, the Hong Kong Arts Centre, Hong Kong International Airport, Fringe Club, and 1563 at the East, Lau Bak Livehouse, etc., in Hong Kong. He participated in various ensemble groups, including the Patrick Lui Jazz Orchestra, the 5422 Collective, the Happy-Go-Lucky Big Band, a Jazz Funk band Soulmates, and a Jazz Trio Setamluos. Cheng had his big band compositions world premiere twice by the 5422 Collective in Fringe Dairy. 

In recent years, Cheng was involved in producing several concerts, such as RubberBand Ciao World Tour (2023), Disney in Concert (2023), Jazz Diva: Ella Fitzgerald by HKPhil (2023), Hong Kong Pop Culture Festival (2023), RubberBand Juntos (2023), 小圓台音樂會 (2024) and Freespace Jazz Fest: RubberBand x Patrick Lui Jazz Orchestra (2024). He released his first re-arranging jazz hymn album, "SOUP," collaborating with jazz musicians Patrick Lui, Tsui Chin Hung, Wong Tak Chung, and Wong Ka Ho, in 2024. Additionally, Cheng is studying jazz shakuhachi under Reikan Kobayashi and traditional Kinko Ryu shakuhachi music under Kohei Matsumoto, aiming to promote shakuhachi music in Hong Kong.
